Jump up Logistics are looking for a range of drivers to join our team. The role is perfect for applicants looking for part/full time work. Plenty of overtime.
The vehicle, a 3.5t van and fuel are supplied at no cost.
Located in THORNBURY, BRISTOL ( BS35 Postcode)
Weekly pay!
The successful candidates will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations. Pay is weekly every Friday after a 2 weeks arrears period. This role requires strong communication skills and a good understanding of logistics, particularly for time sensitive or chilled/frozen temperature operations.
Duties
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and functionality.
- 20-25 deliveries aa route maximum
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transit.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies while driving.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is required.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and clients so excellent English is a must
- Available for work on the days agreed
- Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading of goods.
- A good understanding of route planning and navigation skills.
- Living within the THORNBURY BS35 area and the immediate surrounding areas will get you priority
