Full job description

PMAC are a UK based mental health training organisation who provides bespoke, psychologically informed wellbeing training to businesses. More specifically, to managers, employees and HR teams within all types of industries.

We have an exciting opportunity for somebody to join our team as a Training Assistant on a contractor/freelance basis. This role would be perfect for someone who has studied or is currently studying Psychology, or is working in a related role. The role will likely be 4-12 hours per week (we can be flexible with the hours).

The role will involve assisting with putting together training materials such as PowerPoint slides, as well as researching for training sessions.

Key tasks:

  • Researching content for training sessions by using various scientific resources and psychological journals
  • Creating content and PowerPoint slides in preparation for training sessions
  • Producing workbooks and training material
  • Any other reasonable tasks

Due to the psychologically informed and bespoke nature of our work, a strong understanding of psychological concepts is essential. Experience working with people in a therapeutic or psychologically informed capacity, and applying psychological concepts is also necessary.
