An exciting opportunity has arisen across our Bromley Children's Dietetic team for a bank band 6 Children's community Dietitian. The role is predominately to manage a complex clinical caseload within the Children’s Dietetic Service, primarily in a clinic setting, and including patients with allergies, faltering growth and obesity.
Proposed interview date 16th November 2026
Would you like to work for an organisation that is progressive, innovative and provides quality care for families in Bromley? To find out what it's like to work for Bromley Healthcare please view our videos on YouTube, search for Bromley healthcare and you will get a flavour of Bromley healthcare.
We are currently looking for a Community Dietitian to join our dynamic and friendly team. The department has dietetic teams across Bromley, Bexley and Lewisham, in adults and children's specialties. We, therefore, have a good opportunity for shared learning, clinical supervision, and support from the wider dietetic department.
The Children’s Community Dietetic team provides a wide range of education and training for health professionals and staff from other agencies. They also work to promote health and nutrition to children and their families throughout the Borough of Bromley.
As part of the Community Dietetic Service, each Children’s Community Dietitian contributes to service development, evidence-based policy, guidelines and procedure development in specialist areas; and undertakes research and audit projects.
Each member of the Children’s Community Dietetic team works closely with other health professionals, and professionals from other agencies in the borough, in assessing, treating and protecting children in their care.
Bromley Healthcare, as a community interest company, offers an extensive array of services ranging from community nursing, including district nursing and health visiting, to specialised nursing care, along with therapy services catering to individuals across various age groups.
Compensation is contingent upon NHS experience and current banding/pay point.
We provide an outstanding benefits package, which includes pension schemes, discounted gym memberships, a cycle-to-work scheme, access to home furnishings and electronics, access to Employee Assistance Program (EAP), discounts at various high street retailers, eligibility for the Blue Light Card, the opportunity to apply for low-interest personal loans, and an excellent lease car scheme. Additionally, we are continuously striving to enhance our employee benefits offerings.
Car driver is essential for this role, though the role will be a mix of on-site, remote and patient visit types of working.
