Full job description

Ready to take your sales career up a gear?

If you’re a natural relationship builder who loves winning new business, growing existing accounts and seeing the results of your work, this could be your next move.

We’re looking for a Regional Sales Manager to own and grow our Northern region — building strong customer relationships, winning new accounts and driving exciting new product development.

This isn’t a role where you wait for opportunities to come to you. You’ll have the freedom to make things happen, build your own commercial strategy and really make your mark.

What you'll be doing

  • Grow sales and margins across key customer accounts.
  • Build great relationships with buyers, owners and decision makers.
  • Win new customers and turn leads into sales.
  • Spot opportunities to grow existing accounts.
  • Launch and develop new products with customers.
  • Become the go-to person for our products, industry and technical advice.
  • Get out there — visiting customers, attending trade shows and representing our brands.
  • Work closely with the wider sales team to help shape our regional growth.
  • Take ownership of your targets, your customers and your results.

What we're looking for

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Hungry to win and motivated by hitting targets.
  • A confident self-starter.
  • Great at building relationships — but equally comfortable asking for the sale.
  • Resilient, positive and able to keep going when things don’t go to plan.
  • Commercially minded, with a knack for spotting opportunities.
  • A clear and confident communicator.
  • Organised enough to manage your own diary, customers and priorities.
  • Comfortable presenting products and ideas to different audiences.
  • A team player who takes ownership and gets things done.

Experience selling into builders’ merchants, paint merchants, DIY or trade would be a big plus, particularly if you’ve successfully grown existing accounts and won new business.

Don’t have decorating or DIY product knowledge? No problem. We’ll give you full product training.

Why join us?

This is your chance to join a growing business with big ambitions and plenty of opportunity to progress.

You’ll get:

  • Competitive salary
  • Bonus scheme
  • Company car
  • 5 weeks’ holiday
  • Full product training
  • Career development opportunities
  • A genuinely autonomous, field-based role where you can make a difference

Who are we?

We’re Tetrosyl , a dynamic manufacturing business with a history stretching back to 1954 and Europe’s leading manufacturer of chemical products including decorating sundries.

Our products are recognised on shelves across the UK, and we’re not standing still. We develop new products in-house, continue to expand and have ambitious growth plans.

Based in Rochdale , we’re now looking for someone who wants to be part of that growth.

If you’re ambitious, commercially driven and ready to take ownership of a region, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a role where your relationships, ideas and ability to win business can make a real difference.
