Nursery Nurse / Early Years Practitioner
- Locations: Portsmouth, Cosham, Waterlooville, Portchester, Havant
- Salary: £14.24 - £15.24 per hour (negotiable for permanent contracts)

Nursery Nurse – Take Control of Your Childcare Career with Complete Flexibility
We’re looking for Nursery Nurses to join the Humly community and support a range of early years settings across West Hampshire.
With demand continuing to grow, we’re looking for passionate early years professionals who want greater flexibility and control over when they work. The Role
- Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where children feel supported and encouraged to learn and develop
- Follow all safeguarding policies and procedures to promote children’s safety and wellbeing
- Take an active role in play, activities and outings, encouraging children to get involved and explore
- Welcome every child with a warm, friendly and positive approach
- Provide high-quality care that supports children’s physical, emotional, social and intellectual development
- Work closely with nursery colleagues to create a positive and supportive team environment
- Follow the daily nursery routine and help ensure the setting runs smoothly
- Support with snack and mealtimes, tidying and light domestic duties as required
Requirements
- Relevant childcare qualification or 3+ months of UK-based childcare experience within the last 2x years.
- Punctual, reliable, and professional
- Strong communication skills with children, families, and colleagues
- Ability to provide two proofs of address
- Willingness to follow safeguarding and EYFS guidelines
