Join Our Team at Sterling Home as a Sales Manager within our Montrose Store!

The Role

As Sales Manager at Sterling Home, you will provide strong leadership within the store, fostering a shared commitment to achieving business goals. You'll be responsible for delivering results across key areas including sales performance, customer service, team development, cost control, and commercial effectiveness - driving success across all performance metrics while positioning the store for future growth.

In this role, you'll build and maintain positive, productive relationships with your team, peers, senior leaders, and both internal and external stakeholders. As a key representative of the Sterling Home brand, you will embody our values and promote our business in a professional, collaborative, and forward-thinking manner.

You will also play an active part in wider company initiatives and projects, contributing to the development of your store, region, and the overall success of Sterling Home.

About you - who we are looking for!

You're a confident and thoughtful leader who makes sound decisions - even in fast-moving situations with incomplete information. You rely on a blend of insight, analysis, and experience to guide your judgment, and you know when to aim for progress over perfection.

You take ownership of your work and inspire the same commitment in others. Following through on promises, holding yourself and your team accountable, and creating clear structures for tracking performance come naturally to you. You build in feedback loops, learn from outcomes, and continuously look for ways to improve.

People development is central to your leadership style. You take pride in growing your team by offering support, stretch opportunities, and regular feedback. You align individual goals with business needs and encourage your team to embrace new challenges that help them thrive.

You're skilled at building cohesive, diverse teams with shared goals and strong morale. You cultivate an inclusive culture where collaboration is the norm, successes are shared, and everyone feels they belong.

You're also highly adaptable - able to shift gears quickly, embrace new situations, and lead through change with resilience and creativity. You tune in to what's happening around you and adjust your approach with empathy and awareness, always aiming to bring out the best in yourself and those around you.

If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!
