Alongside this you would attend art sessions as well as access the community together in order to attend shows at the theatre (primarily musical comedy), go shopping and meet with friends.

Our client has clinical needs due to his quadriplegic cerebral palsy. These include PEG feeding, medication administration and moving and handling. He communicates via eye movement or typing on his ipad.

Ideal candidate:

Someone active, energetic and willing to get stuck in, specifically someone happy to swim and support with gym equipment

Someone who can hold a meaningful, engaging conversation with a good sense of humour

Someone who is confident in their capabilities and willing to listen, learn and adapt their focus and expectations to prioritise our client

Someone keen to be in the community and access new settings

Someone seeking to build a meaningful professional relationship built on trust

Someone compassionate and kind who will empower and support our client

Someone self-motivated and able to work under their own initiative
