We are looking for someone with good technical skills and a keen interest in IT components and services.

• Daily review of sales orders with workshop manager.

• Communicate any foreseeable issues or concerns with the sales order, identifying any fault components or stock shortages or incompatible parts and ensure the relevant team is aware of any potential delays, so that the customer can be kept aware of the delay.
• Be the first point of call for the sales team to answer simple configuration issues and or client technical enquiries.
• Assisting workshop team with any in-house infrastructure configuration (VOIP phone system, desktop PC, printers etc).
• Assist warehouse team when required, participate in stock taking procedures or similar goods in, goods out work.
• Monitor stock levels of workshop consumables and advise workshop manager of any shortfalls.
• Ensuring all data security requirements are adhered to, using inhouse data wiping systems and or disposing of devices in an appropriate manner.
• Ensuring GDPR rules are adhered to in relation to documentation and customer records.

Essential:

• Awareness of a variety of IT component parts such as RAM, CPU, HDD, SSD.
• Experience in installing operating systems.
• Attention to detail whilst working, prioritising quality of work completed.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical departments.

Working Hours:

You will work from 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday with 30 minutes for lunch. Hybrid working will not be available for this role due to the nature of the work.
